CONTRAINDICATIONS AND CAUTIONS TO TSUBOKI™ MASSAGE

contraindications and cautions:

• Hypersensitive skins (can be temporary, eg sunburn
• Extremely vascular skins (would dilate blood vessels further, and could aggravate)
• Acute inflammation or swellings
• Infectious skin conditions or contagious illness
• Any skin conditions which could be aggravated by massage
• Diabetes/long term steroids
• Severe acne
• Recent surgery on neck or face
• Procedures eg Botox in last 3 weeks

Cautions:
• Contact lenses must be removed prior to the Massage
• Pregnancy (meridians can be eliminative)
• Epilepsy – with a gentle massage – it is possible to proceed with Tsuboki Face Massage
• Recent dental work – less pressure will be applied
• Hearing aids – to be removed, or I willl adapt the massage.
• Frail, elderly, chronically ill clients: I will adapt the acupressure part of the massage
