Reiki is a beautiful form of energy healing that is versatile, gentle, and effective.

I fell in love with Reiki when we lived in the UK and one of my friends suggested I try it for one of my daughters health issues – which I did and ended up doing my Reiki 1 Practitioner training with the local Reiki Master. I then proceeded to start with Reiki 2 and on the course I also learned about Crystal Healing!

I love sharing Reiki – it is so therapeutic and relaxing. It is non invasive, peaceful and can be adminostered in the seated postion or laying down.

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by “laying on hands” and is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive.

If one’s “life force energy” is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words – Rei which means “God’s Wisdom or the Higher Power” and Ki which is “life force energy”. So Reiki is actually spiritually guided life force energy.

“A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you”.

Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing.

Those with chronic, long-term, or deeply rooted issues should consider a series of Reiki sessions or ongoing Reiki sessions until symptoms improve.

If you feel you could benefit from a session of Reiki please do not hesitate to contact me. I also incorporate Reiki in the final closing of my Indian Head Massages, along with Chakra balancing.
